K CUP NATIONALS
Despite volcanic eruptions and some poor weather, the finals of the K Cup were concluded at Turoa this week. After a great seasons racing, Jamie Green won the Boys K1 Slalom, Giant Slalom and Super G titles and won the Snowvision Scholarship for 2008. Hunter Rose Smith from Wanaka also completed the treble! Whilst the racing programme at Ruapehu was curtailed some exciting racing happened on Saturday, Monday & Tuesday with local skiers doing particularly well, the weather interruptions meant that the Kombi Races were not held this year. Congratulations to all athletes for their results and we look forward to welcoming you back to the K Cup next year.
