The New Zealand Ski Team is the pinnacle of New Zealand's Alpine programme and this team regularly compete at the highest tiers of international competition.  Athletes are selected to his team for a minimum of a year based on their World Ranking and performance in key events through out the year.  There are two selection periods each year, one after each ski season (May and October).
