Kiwi Results at the K2 Provincial Championships, Red Mountain BC

The K2 Provincial Championships sponsored by Teck is an event hosted by the Red Mountain Racers for athletes aged 13 and 14. Events will include, Super G, Slalom, and Giant Slalom, taking place on the Back Trail and the infamous Face of Red – site of the first ever World Cup ski races in Canada! This series will feature approximately 200 racers battling it out in the gates to be crowned Provincial champions. The Provincials is also a qualifying event for the K2 National Championships, and the Whistler Cup International Race.

Kiwi Results:

Ellen Dixon - 2nd year K2 - seeded 92/98 and finished 9th - most improved - a great result
Bronte Marquet - 2nd year K2 - seeded 94/98 - finished 17th

Robbie Armstrong - 2nd year K2 - finished 7th
Fraser McGlinn - 2nd year K2 - seeded 83/91 and finished 20th - most improved
Jamie Green - First year K2 - finished 30th
John Knowles- First year K2 - finished 67th
